JOB PURPOSE:
The Medicare Broker Manger is responsible for managing and growing our Medicare Advantage broker channel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for driving and achieving company defined distribution channel sales goal and objectives.
- Prospects for and recruits new agents through collaboration with national and Direct agency relationships or through agent marketing activities targeted to agents.
- Responsible for meeting established health plan broker sales goals through management of assigned block of agents.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan which results in increased sales and maximized profitability by maintaining and expanding penetration of existing products cross-selling other products.
- Responsible for onboarding new agents by supporting their navigation of contracting, certification, and training requirement.
- Provide training and support to brokers to ensure they are knowledgeable about our products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials and sales strategies.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years in Medicare Advantage sales and/or broker sales experience
- Demonstrated success in leading an effective, competitive sales management group or function, with a track record of achieving profitable growth, in a direct sales environment required.
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and corporate applications.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Active Georgia License for product being sold.

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree (highly preferred)
- 7+ years industry experience with complex national Sales and/or Client Management
